When thoughts are travelling a thousand miles an hour
The deep mysteries of the grey matter
Lay undiscovered...
Only to be unravelled by intermittent bursts of genius
Questionable to say the least...
Words are not enough...
When feelings try to keep up with the thoughts
But fail miserably
Unexpressed and imprisoned
The heart suffers the worst punishment of all...
Numbness and indifference
A delicate predicament this author finds
Hence the writing must cease abruptly
Until such time words come alive again
Tinged with insight and fervor...
